Privacy notice
Ironscope is an early-stage independent service run by Ramon, its founder, currently testing manually reviewed machinery acquisition analyses with professional buyers. This notice explains what we collect through this site and why.
What we collect
Only what you enter in the analysis form:
- Required: the listing link, destination, target margin, decision deadline, your email, and your answer to one pricing question.
- Optional: first name, company, the bid or price you had in mind, your own transport cost, and notes.
With each request we also store a random request reference (for example IS-7K3M…), the time you sent it, and any reference code or campaign tags in the link you used (ref, v, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). If you click an answer link in our follow-up email, we record that reference, your answer and the time.
Why
- to prepare the analysis you asked for and send it to you;
- to talk to you about that analysis and ask whether it was useful;
- to understand whether buyers would want to keep using Ironscope, and on what terms;
- to see which of our messages or page versions led to the request.
What we don't do
- No payment cards or payment details are collected, and nothing is charged.
- No subscription or automatic renewal is created.
- No user accounts, newsletter or unrelated marketing list.
- No advertising or tracking pixels. No analytics tool is installed on this site.
- We don't sell or rent your information.
Services involved
Form submissions are received by our form provider, Formspree (a US-based service), and forwarded to our email inbox. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads. Your browser keeps the random request reference in local storage so that a second request from the same browser can be linked to the first. It contains no personal data and you can clear it at any time.
How long we keep it
For as long as the pilot needs it, and no longer than 12 months after your last request. Then we delete it.
